The tour starts after breakfast in Mönchengladbach in the direction of Jülich. Here we visit the citadel. The route takes you past an open-cast brown coal mine with a stop at a viewpoint. This is followed by a ride through the Eifel to the Rur dam. The trip ends with dinner together.

The Novum Hotel Freiraum is located near the start of the tour. The Montana Hotel and the McDreams Hotel is only a 15-minute walk from the Alter Schlachthof restaurant.
